they won’t return your calls. They ignore your texts and emails

Hello Timor,

They won’t return your calls. They ignore your texts and emails. Either you have little to no idea of what they’re actually doing, or their only communication is to rub in your faith the sinful lifestyle they’ve embraced. It wasn’t supposed to turn out this way.

You poured yourself out to help them grow from an innocent, precious child, so full of potential, into what you hoped would be a responsible, virtuous, capable adult. You envisioned moving from caretaking parent into trusted friend and confidant. You dreamed of a future where you, beaming with pride, would send your son or daughter out into the world. There, fortified by a deep personal faith in Christ, they would accomplish amazing things, and would reach out often with all the updates, and with sincere gratitude for all you sacrificed to help them succeed.

Instead, your child has grown into an adult who rejects you, and everything you believe in.

How can you possibly rebuild your relationship? We have something that might help.

Dr. John Townsend is the New York Times best-selling author of Handling Difficult People, the Boundaries Series, and The Entitlement Cure. He joined us for a free, 7-part video series “Healing Parent and Adult Child Relationships” where he unpacks the often messy reality of the relationships between parents and their grown children.

How to get kissed by a girl

Don't:
1. Don't expect to be kissed
2. Don't directly ask for a kiss 💋 or make any direct request from a female ever
3. Don't expect kissing to mean something to her
4. Don't expect that kissing will ever get you any further than that
5. Don't analyse what this felt like to you
6. Don't ask if she has ever been kissed

Do:
1. Practice behaviors that indicate that kissing might be good
2. Explain your friends' crushes
3. Practice distancing to not intimidate her
4. Ask her about what she likes
5. Moisture your lips
6. Realize that she is her own person

nymphs and fauns

The Song of Songs, which is Solomon's.

Song of Solomon 1 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Song of Songs, which is Solomon's.

The Bride Confesses Her Love

She[a]

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth!
For your love is better than wine;
    your anointing oils are fragrant;
your name is oil poured out;
    therefore virgins love you.
Draw me after you; let us run.
    The king has brought me into his chambers.

Others

We will exult and rejoice in you;
    we will extol your love more than wine;
    rightly do they love you.

She

I am very dark, but lovely,
    daughters of Jerusalem,
like the tents of Kedar,
    like the curtains of Solomon.
Do not gaze at me because I am dark,
    because the sun has looked upon me.
My mother's sons were angry with me;
    they made me keeper of the vineyards,
    but my own vineyard I have not kept!
Tell me, you whom my soul loves,
    where you pasture your flock,
    where you make it lie down at noon;
for why should I be like one who veils herself
    beside the flocks of your companions?

Solomon and His Bride Delight in Each Other

He

If you do not know,
    most beautiful among women,
follow in the tracks of the flock,
    and pasture your young goats
    beside the shepherds' tents.
I compare you, my love,
    to a mare among Pharaoh's chariots.
10 Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments,
    your neck with strings of jewels.

Others

11 We will make for you[b] ornaments of gold,
    studded with silver.

She

12 While the king was on his couch,
    my nard gave forth its fragrance.
13 My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh
    that lies between my breasts.
14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms
    in the vineyards of Engedi.

He

15 Behold, you are beautiful, my love;
    behold, you are beautiful;
    your eyes are doves.

She

16 Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved, truly delightful.
Our couch is green;
17     the beams of our house are cedar;
    our rafters are pine.

annabel lee google translated

That was a lot a year ago,
   In a kingdom at sea
That there is a girl there that you may know
   By the name of Annabelle Lee;
And this maid lived without any idea
   I love myself too and love.

I was a kid, and he was a kid,
   By this kingdom
But we love it more than love
   Anna and Ann Lee and I
Saraf in love with blue wings
   He was looking for me.

Back then
   From this kingdom
Clouds strong wind out
   O just lady Annan Lee;
Song: for his sister's son, therefore, came
   Far away from me.
serious lock
   for sea country.

Non-satisfied angels in heaven,
   En Me and her
That is the reason (as everyone knows,
   In this kingdom of the sea) \ t
The wind came out of the clouds at night,
   My Annabel Lee cools the killing.

But our love is better than love
   We from the old people-
   Smarter than us
Not just angels in heaven
   Not a devil under the sea
My soul is shattered
   Anna Belly.

Since the moon has not yet come to light, my dream has not come true
   Annabelle Lee.
The stars didn’t wake up, but I felt my eyes light up
   Annabelle Lee.
So I lay next to me every night
   By grace - my love - my life and my wife,
   His grave there by the sea -
   Crying at his grave by the sea.

A Crazed Girl - Poem by William Butler Yeats

THAT crazed girl improvising her music.
Her poetry, dancing upon the shore,

Her soul in division from itself
Climbing, falling She knew not where,
Hiding amid the cargo of a steamship,
Her knee-cap broken, that girl I declare
A beautiful lofty thing, or a thing
Heroically lost, heroically found.

No matter what disaster occurred
She stood in desperate music wound,
Wound, wound, and she made in her triumph
Where the bales and the baskets lay
No common intelligible sound
But sang, 'O sea-starved, hungry sea.'
 improvising her music.
Her poetry, dancing upon the shore,

Her soul in division from itself
Climbing, falling She knew not where,
Hiding amid the cargo of a steamship,
Her knee-cap broken, that girl I declare
A beautiful lofty thing, or a thing
Heroically lost, heroically found.

No matter what disaster occurred
She stood in desperate music wound,
Wound, wound, and she made in her triumph
Where the bales and the baskets lay
No common intelligible sound
But sang, 'O sea-starved, hungry sea.'
